I’m Vigo, a Peruvian chef and the founder of Lima’s Walking Chef. My work brings together two lifelong interests: professional cooking and the history of Lima.
Through markets, plazas, traditional businesses, cultural spaces and shared tables, I help visitors understand how Indigenous, European, African and Asian influences continue shaping Peru’s food culture today.
These are not simply food tours. They are chef-led cultural experiences built around conversation, interpretation and genuine hospitality.
